OHJA Jumper Programs
OHJA Jumper Spectacular at Eastern Canadian Jumper Championships
The OHJA is proud to offer a Grand Prix type competition to Junior and Amateur riders in the 0.6m, 0.75m, 0.9m, 1.0m, 1.10m and Pony Jumper divisions.
All levels to be run under FEI Table A Art. 238 sec 2.2 with one jump-off, to take place after all competitors have completed the first round (not an immediate jump off). Exception Pony Jumpers.
Ribbons and prize money to 10th with a cooler presented to the winner of each class. This will be run at the Eastern Canadian Jumper Championship at Caledon Equestrian Park.
OHJA Nation's Cup
The OHJA is proud to partner with the Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments to host a Nations Cup. Open to junior and amateur riders, this class will provide a unique opportunity to compete in a Nation’s Cup format jumper class.
Fences will be set at a minimum height of 1.15m and a maximum height of 1.20m.
At least three teams with four riders must participate.
All members of each team must take part in the first round. If a team cannot improve its placing in the first or second round after its third Athlete has completed their course, the fourth Athlete may be withdrawn.
If two or more Athletes of a team are eliminated or retire, the whole team is eliminated.
The total Penalties of the best three Athletes per team in the first round are added to the total Penalties of the best three Athletes per team in the second round. In case of equality of Penalties for the first place, there will be a jump-off in which one Athlete per team will participate.
This class will be run in accordance with FEI Article 264.
Ribbons to 10th with coolers and sashes presented to the winning team.The winning team Coach/Trainer will also receive a $1,000 cash bonus.
This program will run at the Ottawa Summer Tournament I at Wesley Clover Parks.
1.30m and 1.40m Jr/Am Jumper High Point Awards
NEW FOR 2024! The OHJA is proud to offer high point rider bonuses for the Junior/Amateur rider with the most cumulated points throughout the two weeks of the Ottawa Summer Tournament at Wesley Clover Parks.
Points will be accummulated over two weeks of showing. The top placing riders in both the 1.30m Jr/Am Jumper and 1.40m Jr/Am Jumper divisions will receive a prize and cash bonus from the OHJA.
