Angelstone Events CEO Keean White recently sat down with us to discuss the exciting developments and programs planned for the 2025 show season with OHJA. With the first Gold show just around the corner anticipation is high for a season filled with upgrades and new initiatives focused on improving the competitor experience. A significant highlight is the continued investment in infrastructure at Caledon Park, with over $12 million invested since 2021, including substantial upgrades to stables and the indoor ring.
Building on this foundation, we are pleased to once again offer the variety of OHJA programs you know and love, including the Pony Power Series, 2’6” Junior/Amateur Hunter Division, and the OHJA Mini Prix Series. Adding to this lineup, exciting new programs include the OHJA Team Derby Challenge, mirroring the popular Wellington format and offering a unique team competition experience for professionals, juniors, and amateurs.
Beyond new events, Angelstone is also focusing on enhancing the overall show experience through technology. A new comprehensive app will provide live timing, plus Angelstone show results and scoring, aiming to create a more transparent and engaging experience for competitors and parents alike.
The partnership with OHJA is further strengthened with the upcoming OHJA Outdoor Finale, hosted by Angelstone. This event is designed to be a special celebration of Ontario’s equestrian community, offering a more inclusive environment for year-end awards and recognition, particularly for Ottawa region members travelling long distances to attend.
Keean emphasized Angelstone’s commitment to creating memorable events that celebrate the sport and the community. The 2025 season promises to be one of significant growth, innovation, and collaboration between Angelstone Events and the OHJA.
