Overview
This division is intended as an introduction to children not ready for the regular pony and hunter divisions.
This division will jump a course of hunter style jumps not to exceed 2’ and no oxers.
Jogging is at the discretion of show management.
Short Stirrup may run concurrently with Long Stirrup.
Eligibility
Riders must be in their first or second year of showing and may cross enter into the Walk Trot and Walk Trot Canter Equitation Division, C Equitation on the flat, Short Stirrup Emerging Rider Hunter Medal and hunter or jumper classes that do not exceed 2 feet.
Riders may not show in any other classes that require them to jump higher than 2’.
Riders are restricted from participation in the Children’s Pony Division.
Ponies or horses may enter. Suitability is a factor. Horses or ponies may show in other classes with a different rider.
OHJA membership is required.
