Overview
This program is intended to provide an opportunity for members to try a derby for the first time or with a green horse.
Derby format to be shown over one round with fences set at 2’6” with 2’9” high options. Course will include hunter classic, handy hunter and field hunting fence elements. Open numerical scoring will be used. Bonus points will be awarded for use of high options. Additional bonus points may be awarded for handiness at the judge’s discretion.
Eligibility
Open to Junior and Amateur riders only.
Horse/rider combinations competing over 3’/0.9M at the same competition and ponies are not eligible to compete.
Formal attire is requested.
No points tracking or year-end awards for this program.
